Good names and surnames for characters in a story?

Making a hero's quest story. Two gens starting with the second generation. Weird but I am kinda planning the first gen of books to be more of a prequel for later.

I am wondering whether or not the characters sound good. Descriptions soon to come. And for one thing, there character(especially Alex) have tons of planning behind them...
